2016 Chevrolet Cruze vs 2015 Chevrolet Cruze

2016-Chevrolet-Cruze-vs-2015-Chevrolet-Cruze

There’s a reason the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze is the top selling model this year – it’s because it’s reliable, it’s roomy, it’s fuel-efficient, it’s teched out (to the max), and it’s super easy on the eyes. The 2015 Chevrolet Cruze is no slouch in the streets either! They both retain a functional, aerodynamic design, powerful and fuel-efficient engines, and the most comfortable seating on the market! Come check out both models at Weber Chevrolet and let us show you how great the Cruze can be, no matter when it was released.

Lighter and Brighter

The 2016 Cruze has been fully redesigned so that it’s 250 pounds lighter. Yeah, that’s right. That’s not a typo, from the 2015 to the 2016 models, it has been re-engineered so that it gets rid of excess weight making it lighter and faster on the road. Add to the impressive weight loss and now standard 1.4L, four-cylinder, 153-horsepower engine and the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze is fast, fuel-efficient, and a blast to drive! That doesn’t mean the 2015 should be ignored – it too has an impressive engine (1.8L, four-cylinder, 138-hp), and gets good gas mileage, it’s just not as fast as it’s younger brother.

Space For Passengers and Cargo Alike

The Cruze has impressive cargo space and ample legroom no matter which model you choose! No matter where you go, people will want to be riding with you. Long gone are the days of going to the store by yourself, because now the kids want to relax in the back, your mother-in-law wants to try to figure out the touch screen while riding shotgun, and your spouse has just loaded up the cargo space with random boxes just for fun. Just because they could. The 60/40 split seats are great to keep your options open, and as an added bonus the 2016 model is longer than the 2015 so you have even more room. Tell your spouse to grab some more boxes, because those suckers are gonna fit.

You Name It, They Have It

The Chevrolet Cruze is no stranger to technology. Both the 2015 and 2016 models have the fantastic optional forward collision warning and lane keep assist, as well as a flurry of tech bells and whistles. They both come with a rear view camera, and MyLink 7-inch touchscreen so that you can hook up and sync up, no matter where you are. Use OnStar to keep your car locked and taken care when you’re on the go, or be happy with the fact that you are your own hotspot with the available 4G LTE WiFi. Either model will keep you connected while you’re on the road, enjoying every glorious second of the drive. Turn up the music from your personalized playlist and tell the mother-in-law to keep her hands off; you’re driving now!
