2016 Chevrolet Cruze vs 2016 Honda Civic

   2016-Chevy-Cruze-vs-Honda-Civic

Just like those fraternal twins you knew in High School who looked almost nothing alike, or maybe could pass for cousins, the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze and the 2016 Honda Civic are similar but one stands out a little more. One’s a little better on the road, handles the curves a little more expertly, gets better gas mileage, and just landed the lead in the school musical! Ok, maybe not that last part, but when you compare the Cruze and the Civic, the Cruze definitely out-performs and out-everythings the Civic. Check out these differences between the two and then check out the Chevy Cruze at Weber Chevrolet and drive away happy!

The Looks

Both the Cruze and the Civic were redesigned this year for more updated, fluid, rockin’ new look. The 2016 Honda Civic has a longer nose, sharper lines, and a good looking body, but the front grille and headlight area looks like it might be missing something. Like they forgot to assemble the whole thing at the factory. The 2016 Chevrolet Cruze on the other hand is tight, meaningful, and aerodynamically gorgeous. The available projector-beam headlamps with signature LED daytime running lamps make this car futuristic for the now. The Cruze is sleek, it’s comfortable, it’s designed to drive!

Plugged In

These days having technology in your car is just as important as having an engine in your car! Luckily, both the Cruze and the Civic come equipped with a high standard of technology. From USB ports, to 7-inch touch screens, to smart device syncing capabilities, it’s hard to deny how loaded these two are. The Cruze does up the anty though as if offers 4G LTE WiFi, so that you don’t have to drive around looking for a hotspot like you would in the Civic, because in a Cruze, you are the hotspot!

Fuel-Economy

Just like the fraternal twins who look like cousins, the Cruze and the Civic do have a few things in common. Maybe the twins both played hacky sack really well, but the Cruze and the Civic have long ago given up their ponchos and ponytails, and they play the road really well. The Cruze has a 1.4L turbo engine that gets 42 highway MPG, and the Civic has a 1.5L engine that gets 41 highway MPG. They’re pretty much neck in neck in this arena, but when you factor in all the other perks the Cruze has on the Civic, there’s no competition. Check out all the other great things the Cruze has to offer at Weber Chevrolet today!
