    Fuel Economy and Range

One feature that the Cruze offers is an engine start/stop system.  In heavy traffic or at stoplights, the Cruze Auto’s engine automatically turns off when the vehicle is stopped, saving fuel and reducing pollution. The engine is automatically restarted when the driver gets ready to move again.  The 200 doesn’t offer an automatic engine start/stop system.

Another way that the Cruze surpasses the 200 is the excellent gas mileage it provides.  In comparison to the 200, the Cruze’s gas mileage is 6 city and 5 highway mpg better than the 200. This doesn’t seem like a lot, but this will not only save you money, but will save you from taking as many trips to the gas station.  Here at Chevy, we believe that you should be spending more time driving and enjoying your car than filling up gas and these two aspects of the Cruze will definitely help you keep to this standard.

    Warranty Coverage

It may seem like the 200 and the Cruze have similar warranty coverages because they have the same Bumper-to-Bumper and PowerTrain warranties, however, there is one way that Chevy’s warranty coverage surpasses Chrysler. The unique aspect in which Chevy differs from Chrysler is that Chevy pays for scheduled maintenance on the Cruze for 2 years and 24,000 miles. That means Chevy will pay for oil changes, lubrication and any other required maintenance. Chrysler doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the 200.

    Summary

Compared to the Chrysler 200, the Chevy Cruze is simply the better choice. With its better fuel economy along with its exceptional warranty coverage, Chevy built its 2016 Cruze with you and your budget in mind.
