Trim Levels (Exterior)
When choosing the perfect Trax, you'll have two trim levels and two special editions to select from. If you choose the base LS trim level, you'll see features like 16-inch painted aluminum wheels, an acoustic laminated windshield, daytime running lamps, and sculpted taillamps. Move up to the LT trim to get heated power outside mirrors, deep-tinted glass, and LED daytime running lamps and taillamps. Opt for the Midnight Edition and you'll enjoy 18-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, front and rear skid plates with bowtie emblems, and black beltline moldings and door handles. Also available is the Sport Edition which has appearance features such as body-colored door handles, all-season blackwall tires, and bowtie emblems on the front and rear of the vehicle.
Engine (Power)
No matter which version of the Chevy Trax you decide to drive home, you'll get the same capable engine under the hood. It's a 1.4-liter turbo Ecotec four-cylinder engine that delivers 138 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. Providing you with smooth, effortless shifting is a six-speed electronically controlled transmission.
Performance
You and your passengers will enjoy a smooth ride in the 2021 Trax. To keep you on the road and to help adjust braking and torque for better control is the StabiliTrak stability control system with traction control. This system also features brake assist to help provide extra braking if needed. Front wheel-drive is standard, but you can upgrade to the all-wheel-drive system if you'd like better traction in a variety of terrain. While the front-wheel-drive Trax will get better gas mileage at 26 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway, with all-wheel drive, it still gets up to 24 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.
Interior
Hop inside the Trax to find yourself surrounded in modern comforts and conveniences. Standard features found on both trim levels include a 12-volt power outlet, a 3.5-inch driver information center, a four-way manual driver's seat, the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system with a 7-inch touch screen, cup holders, and a remote keyless entry system just to name a few. Available features include all-weather floor mats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Jet Black leatherette seat trim, and heated front seats.
Safety Features
You'll feel safe and secure behind the wheel of the 2021 Chevy Trax thanks to its high-strength steel safety cage and array of available safety technologies. Aside from its 10 strategically placed air bags, it also has a standard rearview camera to help you see what's behind you when you're backing up. Available safety features are side blind zone alert, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist. A tire pressure monitoring system is also included and will help you keep your tires inflated properly.
