Trim Levels (Exterior)


You can choose from six trim levels with this SUV: the L, 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier. There's also a range of trendy exterior colors to choose from, including Bright Blue Metallic, Cayenne Orange Metallic, and Midnight Blue Metallic. The base trim is quite well-equipped with features like 18-inch aluminum wheels, automatic on/off headlamps, heated and power-adjustable mirrors, LED daytime running lamps, LED taillights, a manual liftgate, and a dual-outlet exhaust with circular bright tips. With the 1LT trim comes added features like deep-tinted glass and an 18-inch spare steel wheel, while the 2LT trim adds IntelliBeam headlights. The 3LT trim introduces many nice-to-haves, such as black roof-mounted side rails, heated and power-adjustable mirrors with integrated turn-signal indicators, an auto-dimming driver-side mirror, and a power-programmable liftgate. With the RS, you'll get a hands-free gesture liftgate, 20-inch aluminum wheels, an RS signature grille, and a black exterior trim, while the Premier features unique 20-inch wheels and a silver exterior trim.

Engine (Power)


You can choose from three engines with the 2022 Blazer. Standard on the L and 1LT trims is a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque. Next in line is a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with an output of 227 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, followed by a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that generates 308 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. All engines are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive is standard. You can also opt for an available all-wheel-drive system.

Performance


The Blazer's Driver Mode Selector allows you to customize your driving experience according to your mood and different environments. By simply twisting the dial, you can select one of five drive modes, including Tour, which provides the most fuel-efficient ride, and Tow/Haul for when you're towing heavy loads. There's also Sport, Off-Road, and an available All-Wheel-Drive mode.

Interior


The cabin of the Blazer features quality materials and attractive Camaro-inspired elements, such as rotary climate controls. Comfortable seating for up to five passengers is provided, as is a spacious and versatile cargo area that you can configure according to your needs. The 60/40 split-folding rear seats open up a maximum cargo area of 64.2 cubic feet when folded down. Available cargo features, such as an adjustable cargo fence, make for easier cargo handling and storage. The Blazer's infotainment system is easy to use and features standard equipment like an 8-inch display, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot, six speakers, Bluetooth, USB ports, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Other standard features include active noise cancellation, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless open and start, and premium cloth upholstery. Higher trims add power-adjustable front seats, heated and ventilated front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, remote start, and leather upholstery.

With the Blazer comes standard safety gear like an HD rear-vision camera and a rear-seat reminder.
