- 5.3L V8 L84 is standard on RST Crew Cab models and optional on WT models
- 3.0L I6 LM2 turbo diesel Duramax is optional on LT Trail Boss models
- All-new cockpit featuring an overhauled dash, center console, and center stack
- Larger infotainment screen will complement the new fully digital instrument gauge cluster
- No HD Radio Option or single-zone air conditioning
- Double Cab body configurations are no longer offered for Custom Trail Boss models
- Introduction of Google Automotive Services
- Increased payload capacity, modifications to the rear suspension, and enhanced towing capabilities
- All-new ZR2 trim level
